How It Works

1

Log your shift

After each shift, enter your clock-in/out, where you worked, and your expected tips — what you keep after tip-out. Takes less than a minute.

2

TipMap does the math

We calculate your hourly rate and tips per table automatically. Optionally track your hourly wage to see total shift revenue.

3

See what's working

Over time, TipMap shows you which areas, shift types, and days of the week make you the most money — so you can ask for more of those shifts.

How to Log Your Tips

  • • At the end of your shift, open TipMap before you leave work (while the numbers are fresh).
  • • Enter your clock-in and clock-out time — TipMap calculates your hours automatically.
  • • Enter your Expected Tips — the amount you keep after tip-out. Subtract your tip-out first, then enter what's left.
  • • Optionally enter your section size (number of tables) to track tips per table.
  • • Hit Log Shift. That's it — takes about 30 seconds.

Tip: Log every shift, even slow ones. The slow shifts are just as important for understanding your patterns as the busy ones.
